I'm here but I'm waiting for Carron and Jones to tune in. These first two teams didn't thrill me in the SD.

he put a foot down in the first part/levels
ok straightlinelift
nice curve lift needs more speed into it
second step one obvious error by him, other little ones
rotational lift OK

63.19/overall in 2nd (probably got next to nothing on twizzle)

It's 8 am in Germany, so CoC is not hard to get up for. SC and SA were at 2 am though and thinking in a foreign language before coffee/breakfast was hard.

straight line lift backward, him on one foot pretty good
step no more than level 2
3 part twizzles
great stationary lift to the music
step
ungainly rotational lift (trying to get level of diffculty by up & down action
curved lift OK
some real fumbling in the choreo lift to end
Looks like she sat on one shoulder during the transition
I liked this dance a lot better than I did at SA

She's trying for a tutu look with that skirt but it looks more like a stuffed Easter basket upside down
Plus white boots would be better than beige for this
Fusar Poli thought it was pretty good
83.92 into 1st with 134.12

I think Carron's skirt looks like a tutu that had an accident with a shredder. And I don't get the black sash, is it supposed to represent White Swan/Black Swan duality?

could use more indian dance classes, but better than at Nepela
79.14 into second , Krylova reassuring.

Carron/Jones get +40 PCS from judges. Lower than all teams at the Skate Canada. Even Stepanova/Bukin.

A bit too early to do Bollywood - kinda hard not to make a comparison to Meryl and Charlie's awesome Olympic OD. I agree they didn't keep the character of the music into the req'd step sequences.

Especially because the costumes were similar. I was wondering if the program was meant as homage or maybe just a bit of hero worship.:)
