Ladies
1.) Ashley Wagner
2.) Gracie Gold (not sure if she'll deserve it)
3.) Christina Gao
4.) Polina Edmunds (Just switched it! I just read she did a 3Lz3T and 3F1/2Lo3S in practice. Hey, I'm French, you should expect me to be a surrender monkey!)
5.) Mirai Nagasu
6.) Agnes Zawadski (not sure if she'll deserve it)

Men
1.) Adam Rippon
2.) Jeremy Abbott (no, i'm not cray cray. mainly because of his exogenesis lp. he should pull a Brown and skate clean without a quad)
3.) Max Aaron (idk if he'll finish 2nd or 4th, so this seems to be the best spot to put him!)
4.) Jason Brown
5.) Joshua Farris
6.) Richard Dornbush

Pairs
1.) Denney/Coughlin
2.) Castelli/Shnapir (sorry, but despite her spark, they look more like a baby-long-throwing contestant than a figure skating pair. but there's the quad)
3.) Scimeca/Knierim (they seem so shaky this season. but i'd love to be wrong!)
4.) Davis/Brubaker
5.) Donlan/Speroff
6.) Denney/Frazier

Dance
1.) Davis/White (as many have stated: duh!)
2.) Shibutanis

i do think hannah will stay top 10, she definitely should with 2 clean skates. i'm not saying that as a club mate; she had two AMAZING skates at sectionals and i think many people are forgetting she had the highest short, long, and combined scores of all senior ladies of all sections...her injury is healed up and she is trained. if she has clean skates here she should be in the mix for sure...she even had mistakes at sectionals and scored well. but i can tell you that girl will definitely not quit...being in a boot for a couple months only made her want it more i think!

i just hope everyone does well, scoring is fair, and spots are given to those who are deserving!

I think I have done something that is very dangerous in the Ladies category. I have gone with my heart rather than my head with my 6th position/alternate choice. I just love Ashley Cain and, although it might be asking too much, it would be great if she got as high as 6th.

And it really pains me to put Caroline Zhang and Rachel Flatt outside the Top 10. But, there are just too many good skaters competing that are capable of getting in the Top 10, so some of them have to miss out. And unfortunately these are the 2 that seem to be on a downward curve…

I also took a chance in the Men’s by putting Miner and Abbott in 6th and 7th. Both could very easily get on the podium, but I feel that the younger skaters that I put in my Top 5 have the edge on the old guard.

In Pairs and Dance, the choices I have made for the Top 6 are actually the only ones I have seen before! So, my “just for fun” choices are purely by PB’s!

THIS IS YOUR SEVEN HOUR WARNING.

You have just 7 hours left to get your predictions in, i.e. until 15:15 EST (20:15 GMT)

I'm off to work out my Canadian predictions.

By the way, I am going away tomorrow, so although I will probably get the first warning posted, there will be no final warning or time up notification.

Whats the deal with Coughlin & Denney? no one here seems to like them so much but everyone keeps putting them in 1 place? :)

I can only speak for myself, but it's a lack of alternatives! :disapp:
Scimeca/Knierim, if they skated clean, would be by far my faves since they're elegant and have decent skating skills. But idk, I get this gut feeling with them that if the stakes are high, they're more likely to make mistakes. They're less reliable in sbs jumps anyway.
Castelli/Shnapir might have improved a lot, but as rude as I feel saying this, they won't ever make a convincing overall package imo (baby-long-throwing). The height difference is too huge, and adds to his lack of skating skills to make him appear even more clumsy.
Brubaker and what's-his-new-partner's-name-this-year? need more time together... before he moves on to the next.
Coughlin/Denney might bore me, but they're consistent and I've often seen them "bring it when it mattered".
Still, it's really sad to see the current lack of international competitiveness in US Pairs.

I think D/C are the best US team right now and have some nice qualities. But I prefer to watch Scimeca and Knierim over them because of their on and off ice personality, plus they really caught my attention last year. So it's not that I dislike D/C, they just happen to be my second-favorite team.

This time, it's not exactly huge scores overall... talk about hard to predict! FSGMT and sequinsgalore are in the lead with 40 points, followed by Wilhelmina and Caroliza_fan with 35 points

Since all of the nationals are through now, here are the overall standings for the ladies event:

1.) sequinsgalore - 290
2.) FSGMT & Mrs.P - 265
4.) CaroLiza_fan - 260
5.) YesWay - 235
6.) Bea - 230
7.) LRK & tulosai - 220
9.) Wilhelmina - 215
10.) 96skiluvr - 195
11.) pitterpatter & sky_fly20 - 180
13.) Frenchie - 135
14.) guenever - 120

Everyone else is under 100 points and probably completed 2 events at max, so I'll stop the standings here... congratulations to our leaders and the medalists of the ladies event - sequinsgalore, FSGMT and Mrs.P! :points:

If any of the scores are not correct, please tell me and I'll change it along with the overall standings :)

P.S.: @Bea: sorry I never replied to you in the Italien nationals prediction thread. You're right, I had your points wrong and changed it. Thanks for pointing it out!
