Men SP - 2014 European Championships

You know how some members were admiring the coaches yesterday.

Well, I have now joined in with the 2 girls that were accomanying Zoltan Kelemen!!!

OK, so the brunette is actually his choreographer, Sandra Schär. Incidentally, Sandra is married to former Romanian skater Gheorghe Chiper, who is one of Zoltan's coaches.

I don't know who the blonde is (All I know is that it isn't Zoltan's other coach, Maria Bogyo Loffler). But, she's nice!

lol - the proof that "different" isn't always better.
Certainly difficult to do, but i agree it looks unflattering.
Bummer about the 3Lz - he normally does all the same intro and then also puts an arm above his head ('tano). He wanted to make it easier and fell... maybe his body is so used to the arm that it felt off balance?!? :laugh:

Love the style, but I didn't enjoy this music as much as his last years'

Parkinson is out of FS. Please tell me Italian Fed might look into Olympic selection again.

Respect for Bychenko, he's been working hard and improving steadily every season.

I didn't see any steps before that 4toe, though.

Tries to show some attitued in the footwork

Combo Spin very laboured.

Looks really dissapointed. Im afraid he won't make it to the Free.

Ok, Parkinson does make it to the FS.

Strid was a hot mess. Lovely step sequence though.

Oda did it better.

Fun movements are fun but Lucine's basic skating is terrible, he has an atrocious hunchback and his movement is rigid and wooden. Awful.

What the hell did I just watch? Haha.

Kurt Browning did a clown routine years ago that was fabulous for a pro-competition. Mario would have worked there. I just can't take this guy seriously lol.

Well, the crowds love Kim Lucine. Can't see the judges loving it, though.

The first time you see any of Kim's comedy routines, you love it. It was the case with his Jungle Book routine at Euros last year, and with his Super Mario routine at the Nebelhorm this year.

But the second time you see them, you get bored and realise that the skating isn't actually that great. It happened with the Jungle Book at Worlds last year, , and with his Super Mario routine today.

EDIT: Surprised that the judges put that as high as they did! The love from the crowd must have influenced them! :laugh:

I really dislike his Jungle Book LP, but this SP, if you compare it to all the other wooden, technically limited skaters we've seen so far, at least has what I'd call "added value"
