Bazarova/Larionov landed all of their jumps. Unbelievable.

Great technically but it looked to me like the choreo was simplified and they just skated through the music. *yawn*

"Size matters" and Vera Bazarova: never have 0.5cm more made such a difference! That does bring the total height she got on that 3T to about... 1.5cm
More seriously: congrats to the clean program!

I mean why pick Charlie Chaplin music, instead of something 'neutral', if you're just gonna sleepwalk through it?

Yeah, I am their biggest fan on these boards and even I am in disbelief. I really think the SBS was the closest they can possibly get it.

Solid skate, no big mistakes - should put them in 4th comfortably. They both look pleased

James/Cipres had a crash on the triple twist and a laboured, two-footed lift but other elements were good. Fantastic 3toe and a huge 3flip (although yeah, free leg a bit hesitant going out). Fast with good attack throughout. They're steadily improving every season.

I like that  They can keep on until 2018. Personal best 63.23.

Volosozhar/Trankov skate so beautifully and are so solid

I still don't see the PCS difference between SS and VT that the judges see... great skate, though.

Clean skate, they look happy enough. Could use a bit more fierce expression, as I was a bit bored
