Tanya and Maxim attending Olympics youth event in Turkey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ghrSjQn0uQ
According to this link http://www.team-russia2014.ru/article/18299.html Maxim said, they started fully training today. They had two full training sessions, so they started preparations for the season. He hopes, his injured arm will allow him to do it. After successful treatment, he feels positive, but he cannot say, everything has gone. It look like he wll have to visit a medical centre from time to time to make sure his injured shoulder is OK. There is a reason for joy. He did some different elements today, in which his arm was involved including lifting Tanya.Of course, his form is not the best at the moment, because, he has not been lifting anything for ages. Overall training was quite comfortable. He is feeling OK by the evening. Tanya and Maxim are getting ready for the competitions and planning to take part in Russian Nationals, they might go to one of Challenge competitions before Nationals.

New interview with Nina Mozer re. Maxim's health situation. I hope he gets ready very soon. :)

Mozer: The plan is to be ready to compete sportinfo.ru

The two times olympic champions Volosozhar/Trankov began the practices after Trankov's injury. Maria Staroverova spoke to Nina Mozer for allsportinfo.ru

NM: The practices are going fine. We never stopped practicing altogether while Maksim was mending his shoulder- we couldn't do certain elements. Starting November 7th we began the high lifts. We are nervous, but doing them. We listen carefully to what Maksim says about his feeling. In general they are in a good working shape. Today we will start working according to the system

MS: How does Trankov feel?
NM: He couldn't lift his arm above the shoulder before. From November 7th he can. Of course it was alien - it've been a while since he tried. We are still not trying the split twist. The last time the guys did a split twist was in Sochi Olympics. After that Maksim started experiencing problems with his shoulder and we decided not to take a risk. We were listening to the specialists who were recommending the treatment, but stayed away from the element because Maksim felt pain. Now we want to gradually start performing it.

MS: I.e. Trankov is good or will he have to go back to the doctors from time to time?
NM: I don;'t know yet. Maksim will discuss his feelings with the doctor later today. In the mean while we don't think he is fully recovered. He is not 100% ready. We'll see. The time will tell. For now he will be watched by a doctor. He has a good specialist.

MS: Will you be getting ready for a certain competition?
NM: We have a plan which includes getting ready for competitions. We skate all the time otherwise. There wasn't a time we were not skating except for the vacation. We couldn't do some elements, but we never did anything the doctors forbade Maksim to do. We were told explicitly what was ok and what was not.

MS: Which competition will Volosozhar/Trankov prepare to?
NM: It's not a store where you go in, pick and buy. We'll see how Maksim feels on the daily basis. They want to participate competitions in a month or month and half. Will it happen? God knows. If we are meant to skate and keep our audience happy - it will happen. See the season so far - so many injures and among the top skaters. They put so much in the last season and the season, and the figure skating season became so long that you have no time to fully recover. If you continue your competing career you glide from one season into another, yet the elements are so complicated that the skaters risk themselves all the time. It's hard to understand, yet the public doesn't want to let their favourites go.

I have just read it, it's a shame, I doubt, we're going to see Tanya and Maxim this season. it looks like, Maxim has had this injury since 2010 and it has got only worse.V/T tried to do their twist on Tuesday, but they had to stop. I wish Maxim a speedy recovery and I think, Tanya needs a lot of patience.
Also, Maxim will be back to Moscow on Wednesday, the he's going to have a rehabilitation in Germany from 15th of December till 15th of January. Nina Mozer says, V/T will make a decision about the rest of the season in a month time, but I think, they're going to miss this season. Ouch, my heart goes out to Maxim!! I know what it feels like to stop doing what you love due to injury.
I've played classical guitar for many years, but last year I suffered a wrist injury that required surgery. I was not allowed to play for fun, school, or competitions for 5 months. My injury still hurts to this day, so I can only imagine what Max is feeling. I wish him a speedy recovery, and I wish Tanya all the patience in the world!

Devochka, I agree with you, Tanya needs a lot of patience and be strong. I think, she's strong woman. It won't be easy for both of them, they won't be able to skate till mid-January. Tanya put a pic of her and Dexter, as she's going to fan-meeting today, she's looking beautiful, but sad http://instagram.com/p/vajMNPj_uQ/

Poor Max! Hope he recovers and that they don't have to retire from competitive skating. I so much wanted to see them at Euros in January but that won't happen now.

That's so sad :( It seems most likely that they will have to skip the season, though they didn't want to...
Get well soon, Max!

It's so awful... Maybe it's better to skip this season and return in the next one? But, please, return :)
Get well soon, Maxim!
