Yuna's next move is (maily) maybe Charity activities for children of poor countries(like Southern africa) or handicapped.

She's UNICEF Ambassador. She always wanted to do volunteer works, not only donations.

Of course, she's also planning to hold Ice show (All that skate!!) in May. (I expect it.)

I think the reason Yuna called "Queen" is not only her skating, but also her humble, gentle soul.

Thanks! I think so far her 2010 Olympic free skate is my favourite... she just floats across the ice doesn't she? Also totally flaky but.. does she ever have a bad costume??

Yuna has exceptional taste lol. Even off the ice her attire is always a winner.

The Gerwshin and Les Mis free skates have always been my favorite two. I go back and forth which is my favorite, depending on the day and my mood. But now I have to add both of this year's programs to the list. I always found SITC to be eloquent and classically beautiful, but I bet a lot of people on this board will be shocked to hear me say I loved her Sochi LP. I was a vocal critic of Adios Nonino earlier in the season, but the main reason I gave for the program's fault was a lack of unity, and specifically it lacked drama and tension...I wanted to feel anxiety and worry about the skater, that's what the music called for. In the previous skates, I didn't feel that at all.

But I didn't foresee the hostile atmosphere and pressure at Sochi! You could cut the tension with a knife, as they say. And then Yuna almost lost it on the last 3Lz, it was a perfect moment of drama right at the exact moment in the program it was needed. God was watching over her and everything turned out exactly right. The program really worked for me this time.

Two days after the ladies skating event ended, the Korea Skating Union asked for an investigation into the judging that ended with Russia's Adelina Sotnikova beating South Korea's Yu-Na Kim for the Olympic gold medal.
One person isn't fazed by it: Kim.
When asked Saturday night about her federation's action, Kim said, "I just think the people around me are more upset than I am. A lot of people thought I was crying (on TV) because of the score, but actually, I wasn't. There was no other meaning. I was just really happy it was all over and I had a good result.
"I don't think the letter is going to change the result, so I'm not really upset about it," Kim added.
Kim, who had just performed in the Olympic gala along with the other medalists and top skaters in these Winter Games, reiterated that she has no plans to compete in the 2018 Olympics which will be held in South Korea.
"I was an athlete," Kim said, adding that she plans to use her time between now and 2018 "to help as many athletes (in Korea) as much as I can."
The one major event on her immediate docket, she said, was a show scheduled for May in Seoul.
Kim said she had no added emotions after having just competed in her final Olympics.
"I've been here for about a week, and I'm really happy it's the end right now," she said

Actually it was all about Pyeongchang2018 not about Yuna. She was standing on the next Olympics symbol. Kind of represent the end of this event and pass the torch to the new host.

it's not about yuna.. she was instrumental for pyeongchang though.. they could have just show a korean flag and say see you in pyeonchang.. but they still asked yuna to stand there as a symbol.. so in a way..i'm just saying it was a nice gesture from the organizers..

yes it was. and I agree 100% that yuna is a symbol for the whole nation. but it is so wrong to implied that part to be her tribute because it wasn't. also it isn't fair to another skaters who will retire after this event too.

Um, it wasn't a "tribute", but it was a classy and respectful move to incorporate Yu-Na into the Pyeongchang tie-in. I appreciate the gala organizers for doing it.

Yu-Na herself didn't know they were planning that until she got to the gala rehearsal, but she considered it an honor. She has a right to and her fans have a right to consider it an honor.

Am I the only who felt that they didn't give Yuna enough camera time, aside from that moment?
Also, am I the only one who felt that Carolina high-fiving with Adelina on the podium (during flower ceremony) while Yuna looked on was a bit insensitive on Caro's part given the circumstance?
