This is a beautiful video - and I love the music. It's great to see this because it shows us the beginnings of competitive skating and reminds us how far we've come. Thanks for sharing!

The first lady that appears in the film has real dancing feet, even drawing her figures! :D
I wonder if she was a good ballroom dancer too...

Cool footage...that is why the term "Figure Skating" was given to the sport. Today, where are the figures? Great to see history...thanks.
