Team Valentina Tiukova & Pavel Sliusarenko

They do a great job with their junior pairs at Perm. Jump-wise they traditionally have had issues but nevertheless they do a great job at there. It is not their fault that they have difficulties to attract competitives jump coaches to Perm. Anyway, they have had multiple pairs who have won medals at JGP Finals and also at Junior Worlds. Now it looks like multiple Permian pairs will make it to the JGP Final again this season. Apollinariia Panfilova / Dmitry Rylov has already made it there and Anastasia Poluianova / Dmitry Sopot will most like make it there as well.

    Their current pairs are.
    Anastasia Poluianova / Dmitry Sopot
    Apollinariia Panfilova / Dmitry Rylov
    Tatiana Lyirova / Maxim Selkin
    Ulyana Orlova / Sergei Bakhmat

    Their previous pairs include
Ekaterina Borisova / Dmitry Sopot http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/sho...p-Dmitry-Sopot
Anastasia Gubanova / Alexei Sintsov http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/sho...Alexei-Sintsov
Anastasia Poluianova / Maxim Selkin http://goldenskate.com/forum/showthr...-Maksim-Selkin
Anastasia Poluianova / Stepan Korotkov http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/sho...01#post1229801

Recent interview of Pavel Sliusarenko where he talks about all their pairs.

Among other things he mentioned that Panfilova/Rylov might be ready to show their quad twist this season. He also mentioned that Nastia Poluianova is practising 3S but she is not ready to show in a competition yet.

I don’t like the constant partner swapping in this group.

Poluyanova skated with Korotkov, Panfilova with Selkin and Borisova with Sopot.

Following year - Korotkov was a bad jumper, so they got rid of him. They took Selkin from Panfilova and gave him to Poluyanova, so we had Borisova-Sopot, Poluyanova-Selkin, Panfilova- found her a pair beginner (Rylov).

Following year - Borisova struggled because in the off season she was ill for several months. So suddenly we have Poluyanova-Sopot, Selkin got Lyirova (from Lyirova-Zhikharev), Panfilova luckily kept Rylov.

It feels that if anyone has a bad season from any reason (including health problems), they will be replaced and use skaters within the group breaking up other partnerships. I understand that they wanted to get the best results, but it seems a bit ridiculous to play musical chairs with the kids.
