Didn't she get hurt before JWC and Radinova who was also injured wound up going instead.

No, that was Sotskova who got injured before junior worlds. Proklova did not compete because Radionova was injured and she got better, they decided to give her a chance and compete so they swapped her with Proklova (out of Sakhanovich, Sotskova and Proklova who were at that time nominated to compete, Proklova's result at junior nationals was the lowest and junior nationals was their qualifier for the junior worlds). Then a few days after they swapped Radionova with Proklova, Sotskova got injured and they couldn't get Proklova back on the team any more so they put there Medvedeva. If Sotskova got injured a week earlier, they would have swapped Radionova with Sotskova and Proklova would still compete at junior worlds. That was a bit unlucky.

I just watched the video of Yulia and I'm off to watch the others. Thank you for the links. This video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHrLtGTZJvg was the first link I clicked on from her video. It's interesting to see how far she's come.

 Definitely a mouthful. Could anyone ever say it aloud without tripping over their tongue?

What are her (Proklova) programs going to be? I clicked on the link but it wouldn't translate for me.

Her programs are already on wikipedia

Short program is from a Russian movie called Spy, it should be a playful tango as she says.
Free skate to Firebird (similar to Yana Khokhlova & Sergei Novitski's dance several seasons ago)

I think the most impressive looks has Maria Stavitskaza. Unfortunatelz, she is not among the most talented.

I really like her skating. she has done pretty decent at the season before last, getting bronze at one GP event. The last season she was injured and missed most of the season. When she got back, she won one of the Russian cup internal competition but did not qualify for the nationals because the others collected points from two Russian cups whereas she competed only at one (the last one). She still was at the top of the substitutes and if someone withdrew from nationals, she would probably be the one competing. As a result of missing the last season, she is not even on the reserve team, which I think is a bit harsh. When Shershak was injured and missed a season, she was kept on reserve team and was given a chance the following season. I hope that Stavitskaya does well at their test skates and at their internal competitions and they send her at the GP TBD spot.
