I will mention this new pair here because I see a lot of potential there because she has multiple triples. They are both skating their first season as a pair skater (and also as a pair obviously), so, their pair elements aren't great yet but I believe they might be very competitive pair in near future.

Lina Kudryavtseva / Timofei Kuznetsov

One might want to notice this new pair also. She too has multiple triples.

So this is what they were doing in Novogorsk...training with Kudryavtsev, and master classes w/choreographers, sports psychologist, & other specialists. The article is quite interesting:

http://www.fsrussia.ru/news/2095-v-...ikov-blizhajshego-rezerva-sbornoj-rossii.html

It says part of the selection was based on the junior championship & skaters who would be participating in the Junior Grand Prix, so I hope this means Georgi and Ilia will be getting 2 assignments.

Most interesting are results of girls 1st sports grade.
Top 2 of 19.

Most interesting are results of girls 1st sports grade.
Top 3 of 20.
Fpl Name Birth Score SP FS
1 Anastasia Kostyuk 2004 160.78 1 3 (landed 3T+3T in SP)
2 Alena Kanysheva 2005 160.38 2 2 (landed 6 triples including all 5 different triples in FS)
3 Ksenia Sinitsina 2004 156.43 3 1 (landed 3Lz+3T in FS)
(scores are some lower than Junior because 1st grade has 6 jumping elements in FS)

All three are students of Svetlana Panova, former coach of Maria Sotskova.
All three land 3Lz, 3Lo, 3T, all land combo at least 2A+3T (or more complicated).

Alena Kanysheva was 2nd at Nationals Younger Age (Zhuk Memorial) in ypounger group, 2005 and younger.
Anastasia Kostyuk was 8th in elder group to Nationals Younger Age (Zhuk Memorial).
Ksenia Sinitsina did not qualify in elder group to Nationals Younger Age (Zhuk Memorial) - too many promising girls born at 2003-2004 in Moscow.

For the Organizing ISU Member there is no limitation in the number of entries in its Pairs’ event.

The quote is about JGP.
I haven't even noticed this rule before. Next season this rule has some significance because hopefully we will see something like 5 Russian pairs in Saransk.

Thanks! :cheer2:
It's a very thoughtful list, all skaters have some nice past or present accomplishments, maybe except Kurakova and Mikhaylova. Sakhanovich, Proklova and Pervushkina's latest forms are also suspectable.

That was a pretty complete list but I wouldn't ignore Leonova. Also, Aleksandra Trusova is missing from the list.
Agreed: you can't ignore worlds silver medalist and last season's Russian Cup Final winner and last year U13 Moscovian champion, Trusova.

and Elena Pavlova imho deserve to be there
Very good placing in St. Petersburg, not so much in away tournaments.

Also Yasmina Kadyrova, Alyona Kostornaya, Anfisa Ryabova and Anastasia Kostyuk.
YES to Kostornaya (strong last year: 3 medals, fourth place) and Ryabova (reigning Russian U11 champion from Kazan!).
NO to Kadyrova (regional successes in weaker field so far) and Kostyuk (pretty elegant girl, always nice costumes, but not a single medal in last two years).
