Watching a Gala always make me cry 
People say some skaters, Yulia for example, don't even seem to feel the pressure on the ice, but then you see the same skaters just a short time later at the Gala & you see how relaxed and at what ease they can truly skate. The pressure they feel in competition must be unbearable 
I can't imagine.

I was just rewatching R&J1 on Youtube while waiting for the Gala to start. I may tear up watching him perform it live...he's come so far in such a short time!

Kanako skating to King of Anything was great! I'm always surprised more skaters don't use Sara Bareilles, or at least instrumentals. Songs like 'Islands' or 'Manhattan' would fit into ice dance splendidly.

If they had the same sound problem with Mario it wouldn't have worked at all. Just shows again how much respect young Wakaba deserves!
