Crystal skate 25-27 April 2014

It is Novice competition, but I beleive that for now (no serious competitions at all) it is interesting.

Boys, girls:
Two age groups - elder born at 2001-2002, younger born at 2003 and younger.
Two boys and two girls in each of age groups from any of invited ISU Member (CIS and Balitc Countries).
Organizing Member (Russia) has higher quota - four skters, best three from Zhuk Memorial and one skater from Odintsovo, place of competition.

Ice Dance - born at 1999 and younger. One couple from any invited ISU Member.

Program - Advanced Novice.

Schedule - 26 April SP and SD, 27 Apr FS and FD.

At Febriary 2011 she won Final of Russian Cup, ahead Makarova, very young Lipnitskaia, Leonova and others, and was 3rd at JrNats (ahead very yong Radionova, 4th place, and Pogorilaya, who was 15th).
After that - injury and she retired at 2012.

Gubanova (11 years old) in FS - 3Lz+3T and 3F+3T.
Tsurskaya (12 years old) - 3Lz+3T twice.
Both compete in Juniors and Novice program is too easy for them.
Very, very nice and clean skating, visually effortless combos and jumps. Level of JrWorlds medalists, I believe.

Gubanova's speed and skating skills is pedigree, even better than Proklova's

Gubanova&Tusurskaya both made monstrous points under novice rules, so did Bezrukova.:agree: What a game!
Gubanova executed 3Lz3T and 3F3T successfully?! It is her first time I guess, and really unbelievable for such a young girl!

Novice. Only 6 jumping elements (two combos of 2 jumps) and two spins in FS, level 3 maximum in non-jumping.
Very good scores for Novice programs.

Yes, it is her 1st time - she competes as Junior, in Junior program it is not useful.
Unbelievable - it was when she being 8 years 11 months old landed 3F at competition.

Tsurskaya in her Junior program lands 3Lz+3T+2T, stable enough.

Not so bad at all! Maybe what she really lack is performance. But she is still young, even cannot compete JGP next season.

Not mention her jump ability is amazing, not only BV but also quality, including right edges.

Proklova may be added.

Medvedeva is lucky - she has JrWorlds medal.

Medvedeva, Proklova, Sakhanovich, Sotskova - they all deserved JrWorlds (and absence of any of them is regretful).
Also Radionova, too young for Senior Championchips.
Also Pogorilaya - she had no info about any chance to Worlds spot. JrWorlds is much better than nothing, and she wanted to try to earn JrWorlds spot at JrNats. She was not at JrNats only because of injury.

5 or 6 girls for 3 spots, all with very good chance to JrWorlds medal.
