Ice Dance IS back again at Skate Detroit this year. At least a little bit of ice dance.

Moore/Klaber each tweeted about competing. Klaber's tweet said that they are the only team.

And in non-dance news, Gabby Daleman just tweeted that her brother Zach and she both are competing at Skate Detroit.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Not Thursday; I was hoping to go after work but some other things have come up. I'm curious to see Hannah Miller, Amber Glenn, and Doug Razzano (if he is actually there) in particular.

Only 2 Sr pairs are listed in the SP start order for later today: Jones/Reagan CAN & Simpson/Penasse USA.

Jr Pairs SP start order for Thursday (sent to me): http://pic.twitter.com/y7xRlEwZLq
Seguin/Bilodeau CAN have WD, according to a recent article on him in French. I assume she may still compete in Sr Ladies.

Novice Pairs SP start order on Thursday: http://pic.twitter.com/aexXmsiiFr

I've added Int.-Jr. Ladies SP qualifying group results from yesterday and earlier today and will update daily as time permits: http://unseenskaters.wordpress.com/2014/07/24/2014-skate-detroit-july-23-26/

ETA, @LynnRutherford has started her tweeting from Detroit ... only the first two of her many tweets are copied below.

Does Daniel-Olivier Boulanger-Trottier have the longest name in figure skating? The Quebecois won jr mens short at Skate Detroit w/54.11 pts

Boulanger-Trottier fell on 3Lutz but hit a 3S3T & showed fine spins & speed. The top 5 junior men's SP at Skate Detroit were from Canadians.

Thanks so much.
Good to see Roman holding his own. Decent marks even with a fall and music issue.

Both Hannah and Amber skated clean? Did Hannah land a clean 3T+3T? Sad to see the Canadians girls having a bad day, but I hope there will be videos!

Amber Glenn clean insofar as 3F3T, one-foot 3Lz, 2A. Hannah Miller under on second 3T. Definition of clean seems to vary according to poster.

Also per @LynnRutherford, Chartrand attempted a triple axel in her FS.
@chrisakadanafan Yes. Spoke to caller after event, it was downgraded. Coach says she practices it daily.
