I love these two so much and I hope someday they may really compete for international podiums.

It seems they are leaving Zazoui's group in Lyon and going to Montreal. Two recent instagrams:

It's a little sad if they were forced to go, but if they had to leave Lyon, Montreal seems like a good fit for them. I want them to keep their unique edge!

Hope there are some other fans of this duo here.

They had no choice but to follow Romain, he was their main coach.

Ah! I was wondering if they'd be relocating to Montréal... I hope that it's an easy transition for them; and that they find success!!! I really like the two of them and this may turn out to be a change for the best (hopefully). And I agree with Mattieu, they really didn't have any other option...so sending them the best of luck!

Finally a thread dedicated to this young couple!! I like them!! I hope they'll be French number 1 couple next year (it's not so hard since there're not so many couples there...)
Plus Guillaume is.... sorry I couldn't resist

They will be the number 1 French couple, as they are the only couple with Carron/Jones retirement....

I've read something about it but didn't find any confirmation =/
It's always more useful to have a "rival", I hope they'll improve the same. They already have the potential to be in the top 8 for me

I really like them and their free dance was my favorite from last year. Can't wait to see what they bring this year.

Someone pointed out in another thread that Hurtado/Diaz will also be in Montreal and could be good training mates/rink rivals for Papadakis/Cizeron. I know it's not quite the same thing, but....

will they train together? It's WONDERFUL!! I like H/D the same and I was exactly thinking about them when I was meditating on their direct rivals for the 8th place
Just leave out 3 Russian couples, W/P, C/L and C/B. Shibutanis and M/H are a bit stronger (because they have more experience) but I don't see them as unbeatable duos. Plus they can rival with all the other European and the young Canadian teams.

The problem I've seen with P/C is that they didn't show a solid technical base last year. They can only improve it because their presence on ice is already pretty good

Cizeron is fantastic technically. Love his fluidity and how strong he is on lifts. Papadakis is definitely the weaker of the two but she has so much presence and can really sell the program.

Agree! Their presence is fantastic, maybe because they've chosen not common programs so far, they made a very good impression. I'm not a dance specialist so I can't say who's better, but I didn't feel the same good sensation on this aspect. But this is also the "easiest" thing to improve, a dancer who's glacial and distant will find hard times to look persuasive
