Well done Nugumanova!!!

What happened to Stavitskaya? Is she still injured? She didn't used to skate so badly! (score 131). they won't send her to any senior B international competition with this skating. :disapp:

Thanks AlexRus! Do you also have the entry list or is that still unavailable?

I was initially inclined to think Z/S' bad SD result was the due to Ryabinina and Liapina being the tech specialists. But seeing the videos, I don't blame the judges at all. His skating is still good but she is as useless ever, health problems or not. I think even Zhulin was sending them a message when he gave them malagueña and Spartacus.

As for the juniors, skoptsova and Aleshin were my faves. They skate small and may not have the tech of others but they both have tons of charisma. Love all the little flourishes in the choreography.

Is Evgenia Medvedeva competing senior level?

I'm not great at Russian but isn't this her name in Russian on the official entries list.

Gubanova, Devits (Tutberidze's daughter), Tsurskaya...but still no Nugumanova!
I believe Nugumanova will be later, at other Events.
At this Event we see too strong competitors - all medalists of 1st Event. They will not be at Events 3-5, so it will be more easy to Nugumanova to qualify to JrNats.

Yes, she is. There is no other Evgenia Medvedeva in Russia who can compete at Senior level.

In fact, Evgenia does not compete here. She qualified to JrNats (because she was at JGP Events) and SrNats (because she qualified to JGP Final). She uses this Event just to skate Senior program with judges, as praсtice.
Best skaters often do so.
And to make it more convenient for them, at Russian Cup Events all disciplines are in two adjacent days. Night in train - two days for SP and FS - night it train - and they are in home, with lost only two days at their skating rink.
