Well, her ISU biography says that she skates 6 hours a week. She also skates at Mega Mall in Rabat so God knows what skating conditions she has there.

For the Moroccan, skater just being able to perform was probably what mattered most.
So in that respect well done to her.

She performed single jumps and none of the spins was even a level 1

Let's not forget it was the JGP premiere for an entire country. I wonder how much of the performance was incompetence and how much was just nerves.

I'd put some of it down to nerves, some down to the skater's level of skating (with that little practice time available, she'd have to be a prodigy to have it be effective), and some down to maybe the country not understanding the levels required.
