Petrov's PCS could have been higher, but oh well..
Agree, he is the most completed junior skater at the moment IMO. He has good axel (much better than Shoma) good package (a bit generic but it's okay) and much better presentation than Boyang.

Torgashev had a nice little skate. At 13, he doesn't have a 3a yet, and only did a 3f2t combo, but the footwork and spins were very nice. Into second behind Petrov. His season's best by nearly 7 points.

Howe landed his 3a, but blew his combo.

Samoilov - so many mistakes.
He had TES 34.40 at OpenMoscow and 35.30 at Russian Cup Event, clean skating.
Now only 20.18.

Not as late as me! I overslept - but then I'd misunderstood the time anyway, so even if I had got up at (what I thouht was) the right time, I'd still have missed Petrov. Sigh. I've only really watched a couple of skaters.
But, anyway, happily they've already uploaded Petrov's SP:

I can see Petrov having better interpretation than Adian Pitkeev. Among young Russian men, I like this boy the most. Mishin knows very well to teach his boys.

He's my new favourite - and my second (after Plushy, of course! :) ) favourite Russian man. :)

ETA - Maybe I should add, that I don't "replaace" favourites - I just add more. :) I seem to "acquire" one new favourite each season - it's not deliberate, it just seems to happen that way! And I suspect Petrov is my "new one" for the season. Yes, I know it's early, but....

And he's got - for lack of a better word - "attitude", don't you think? :) I love that!
To be a student of Mishin, it is a must! He is very solid in all movements, very manly. He doesn't look frail as other juniors.
For example Boyang has difficult jumps but he looks frail and lost on ice, except for the jumps. Shoma is fluid on ice but his jumps are less impressive.

happy to see Deniss made the last group!! I didn't get to watch but I'm looking at protocols and he fell twice? Once on the lutz and the other time...?
