GO MARIA!!!!

Besides I'm also rooting for Diana and Ivett, such talented young ladies that impressed me thursday in SP.

Karen will hopefully hold on to first place to qualify for JGP final, which she had last year but later withdrawn due to injury.

Proklova needs a miracle win here, but I guess it's better not, she needs rest and then fix her jump issues.

I'm really hoping Karen pulls put a win! It might be tough though since she is skating before the two Russians. If she comes in second, can she still make it to the Final?

Unfortunately she can't. Miyu Nakashio of Japan wins the first tie-breaker since she was 1st in the JGP Tallinn.

I'm praying for a Proklova win even if it is far fetched. At the least Maria will get her spot.

As much as I want Proklova to win, I think it would be better if she rested and trained for Nationals. Of course, missing JGP when 2, possibly 3 Russian girls are going wouldn't be nice when it comes to selecting the JW team...

It really makes me sad that the injury had such a strong impact on her skating, I was hoping I would see other great performances such as last Nationals... Anyway. Best of luck to her, and go, Maria, fight for that first place!

5 different girls already have 3.00 in deductions each. Has it really been that much of a splatfest?

In about one hour and a half, I think (I'm doing some weird maths here and may be completely wrong).

Not really, it's only adding and guessing. I'm considering 6 minutes for each lady to skate + get the results, the 5 minutes warm up and giving some extra time for ice cleaning (the announcer said it would be a 16 minutes pause, a pause I assume will end soon). So if my guesses are right, about one hour from now

Nice to see Diana turn in a performance she's proud of including a 3T-3T! Lots of impressive skaters from Lativia this season....did they get a awesome new coach or program or something?

Very impressed with the fight in Sarah Tamura to come back from 22 place! And have the highest TES so far. Had she not skated so early she probably would have made the top 10 cause I am sure her PCS would have been higher.
But not being able to put together back to back good skates is something Canadian women have always had problems with.
