I have been in contact with Skate Canada since the arena seems to not wish to answer my questions in Kelowna. They have been very good at answering my questions.
No water fountains exist at the arena and plastic and metal containers are not allowed. It is unclear if plastic water bottles are sold inside. If you need to carry water
for emergency (or other) meds, make your preparations in advance. Bags will be searched.

OK, I got in contact with the arena and they will be allowing empty water bottles you can fill up in the bathrooms (obviously, use good hygene technique).
They also will be selling filled bottles in the arena.
Parking meters take only change and (presumably) Canadian cards with chips, not magnetic strips...don't know that for sure. Ins and outs will be permitted space allowing. There is a casino across the street that a person in the arena said would make change.
Don't know if they charge....Arena ins and outs will be permitted but at this time, the procedure is not set in stone....probably an entrance and an exit.

Thanks for the info. I'm always thirsty and would be really annoyed with the water bottle situation.

You bet...its pretty sad that they deny water to fans so they will buy more beer.......what's next? No air unless you buy bottled oxegen? Pay toilets? When I am head of the USFSA I will require each org committee applying for an event to provide either water fountains, or free bottled water. And no pay toilets.....
Thanks for the info. I'm always thirsty and would be really annoyed with the water bottle situation.

Have a wonderful rime CC. Kelowna is a lovely city and the weather should be lovely for it. And don't forget to try the wine! Be sure to report back to us.

Isn't Kelowna known for being a retirement centre. Maybe he Ogopogo monster might stop by too - that would be cool.

The wine tours are awesome. Mission Hill is one of the signature wineries. Also, they make the best ice wine and dessert wine EVER.
