You know, it's really unnecessary and disrespectful to post something like this before the competition, and you haven't even seen S/K's dances or any other couples dances for that matter. Good luck with your predictions.

I was poking fun at the fact that Cup of Russia is unashamedly pro-Russian... well, certainly last year (like the bs with B/S, and Lip's win over Kostner). I will say that Menshov deserved bronze over Fernandez... but then again, the Russian fed isn't exactly pro-Menshov. :rolleye:

I wasn't disrespecting S/K's dances, but I wouldn't be surprised if Coomes/Buckland were pushed off the podium by two of the three other Russian teams (it very well could be I/Z that does it instead of S/K). If Russia wants to salvage the I/K split and have a contender for a world medal this year, you can bet that they wouldn't want both I/Z and S/K to end up behind Coomes/Buckland.

Should we be discussing scoring controversies - before they've even happened at that! - on the Prediction thread? People could restrain their urges to post snarky comments (CSG's wasn't the first) on the unfairness of the placements, and discuss this subjects on the appropriate threads maybe - in this case the ice dance? Just a thought.

Thanks LRK.

I agree: For the sake of our scorers, keep the discussion to the predictions game itself. There are plenty of other places to talk about the actual competition.

This is supposed to be fun. Let's keep the politik talk elsewhere!

Glad you could make it for this round! Speaking of which, you all have 36 hours to submit predictions.

Well, we'll see.....

You're not serious, right? Please, don't forget that I/K and S/K have split. Now we have I/Z and S/K :)

Also, note to everyone: both teams Coomes/Buckland and Chock/Bates have C/B initials. Please, be careful posting your predictions.

You can say whatever you want but it sounds disrespectful and even rude to me. Some people, sadly including you, post their statements that if S/K, S/B or I/Z will be on the podium here than it will be 100% undeserved just because it's CoR. 'Ha', 'ha' and one more 'ha'.

People make mistakes, particularly when you're talking about new teams formed out of old ones. Making someone the object of derision for doing so sounds disrespectful and even rude to me.
