For Marissa and Mervin, trouble with jumps and the death spiral, double Lutz throw (interesting, as she has been all about the Salchow)

Poor Brianna Laxson fell victim to the doubles Zayak rule. She missed qualifying by about 4 points, and her invalidated 3S-2T combo (due to doubling her 3T immediately before and having already done a 2T in a combo) would have been worth a base value of 5.50 had it counted. Ouch.

So are Eliana Gropman and Ian Somerville not advancing to nationals (Junior Dance)?

I don't think so
