Last group to skate tomorrow, starting order:

19 本郷理華 HONGO Rika
20 樋口新葉 HIGUCHI Wakaba
21 永井優香 NAGAI Yuuka
22 中塩美悠 NAKASHIO Miyu
23 加藤利緒菜 KATOU Riona
24 宮原知子 MIYAHARA Satoko

And this is me hoping Satoko brings the house down with her Miss Saigon FS to take the crown ;A;

ETA: Kanako is skating 16th.

Wow Rika. She's really killing it this season. That's a huge score for her. It's a message.

So sad about Kanako!! Why? :(
Yay Satoko! She can win this. So can Rika.

I just watched Higuchi's SP. Such energy! She was so fast and her jumps were so explosive! @_@

This is surprising! I didn't expect Kanako-san is placed like this at the nationals - 9th? I thought naturally 1 or 2nd place would be her. I hope she redeem herself tomorrow.

I have a feeling that Haruka was robbed. She was actually clean and she skated very well.

The surprise on Kanako's face when she saw her score was just so obvious, poor girl :(

I also didn't think that she URed anything (or she's like Mirai who is very fast to correct her landings). Is this the recurrence of the Phantom UR from NHK Trophy...

I felt the same way. This tech panel is really, really harsh! On everyone!!! Even Wakaba's combo got a UR. Can't wait to see the protocols.

MURAKAMI Kanako

Elements BV GOE Score
3T3T< 6.00 -0.42 5.58
3F< 3.70 -0.70 3.00
FSSp1 1.30 0 1.30
CCoSp3 3.00 0.90 3.90
2A 3.63 0.70 4.33
StSq4 3.90 1.54 5.44
LSp3 2.40 1.00 3.40

Total 23.93 3.02 26.95

I would do this for all the ladies (the d button on my remote shows the TES protocols) but that's... too tiring. Does JSF even release protocols like how ISU-sanctioned competitions do?

Miyahara 3Lz<-3T< 3F 2A
Higuchi 3Lz-3T< 3F 2A
Kihara 3T-3T< 3Lo 2A
Murakami 3T<-3T< 3F< 2A
Imai 3S-3T< 3Lo 2A
Nishino 3Lz< 3Lo-2T 2A
Mihara 3F-3T 3Lz< 2A
Matsuda 3Lo<-3T< 3F< 2A
Nitaya 3Lz< 3T-3T 2A
Oba 3S<-3T< 3Lo< 2A

I would say the caller is unduly strict. Makoto Okazaki, not surprisingly the one did last year's junior worlds ladies.

Also, Hongo Rika only has positive GOEs for all her elements, Level 4s on all spins, and a Level 3 on her StSq.
