Glad that Samantha will be able to go to 4CCs, even if she didn't make the podium at Nationals. I hope she places well there.

Ashley made a wise choice w/d so she can prepare for Worlds, and w/o Ashley there, I'm sure Gracie will make a strong showing and land on the podium.

There are less ladies and more men this year.

Since there are 27 entries for the men, 3 wont make the free skate.

For Ashley, it's a no brainer as finishing below Gracie for whatever reason would only slow her momentum going into world's. Gracie needs to go there to win. I kind of feel anything less than a win would be a let down in this field.

I agree, Gold needs a win here. She should get it, too...quite frankly, if she can't win in this field, the World podium is going to be a much taller task for her than it might appear...

For Wagner, it's a pacing issue. Don't want to get burned out too quickly.

if she can go back to Shae-Lynnand workon replacing some of those crossovers (or crosscuts) with choreography, that would really see her excel over the Russians.
