So I just need to not spoil myself for.... 10 hours. Okay then.... :slink: (I'll try?)

Just think of the increased productivity you gain. Use the time to get extra homework done or something. :) Then watching the videos will be your reward!

i'm sure there will be a lot of uploaded videos from korean fans.. both fancams and the korean network.. so it's not really the end of the world..

I routinely try to watch the competitions on demand spoiler-free when they are on in the middle of the night or during work, with varying results. I have IceNetwork but they can be slower than I would like posting the videos when I'm trying to avoid spoilers and on a social media blackout. (Also, the thumbnails for the video and their homepage often have spoilers, which seems stupid to me when an event just ended. You'd think they would realize that some of the people trying to watch the on demand video within 12 hours of the event might not want spoilers, but their thumbnails and especially the podium pics kind of give it away. Gah! Sorry, rant over.) I've sort of given in to just searching YouTube and pulling up start lists from the forums and trying to watch vids in order.

Might not be able to watch it live cause I'll probably be going to tutoring for chemistry on Friday. Plus 3 am....I'll be asleep.

Same here. That procedures require a lot of patience but are worth it. :)

Sleep well during the night and when you get up, don't even look at the results. That would be a spoiler to kill all fun.
Just search and gather 4CC videos on YouTube and see them by the entry order. I did that for some of Grand Prix series this season, and that was really thrilling.
That's exactly my usual technique

the only a couple of times that I watched live competition that is not in my time zone is probably Sochi Lady's short and long (AND US nationals which is in my time zone:biggrin: )So much thrill!!!
I can never control myself and do the recommended youtube+entrylist method, I will go straightly to the result once I woke up.

This doesn't work when I have to get up early for school, tutoring, or a game. Oh well, sometimes I prefer when competitions happen while I'm sleeping. Then I'm not as nervous.

Good thing about watch live is that I will watch every skaters of all levels and get a holistic perspective. On youtube, I will only watch probably top3 and my fav skaters.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but why are there 26 entries for the men and only 19 women?

Simple, fewer ladies did not reach the TES minimums required for 4CC. Sadly, most of the ladies from Asia outside of China (really Zijun), Japan, PHI and Korea just didn't have the content to reach even 4CC minimum TES.

:-/ The ISU should lower the TES requirement or open those spots for women in Japan, Korea, PHI, the US . . . basically fill up the event!

It's not that high to begin with, especially compared to Worlds.

I'm getting excited for the Ladies SP! Though it's still like 18 hours away. Homework and watching videos will surely pass the time....hopefully lol.

Anyone else still excited about this after the dramatic Men's SP? ;)

Kinda but I was asleep/getting ready for school/on my way to school/doing some last minute studying for my test while it was going on. Though when I was awake I was watching the live results. So I couldn't watch it live. But sleeping for a chemistry test is more important than staying up to watch a livestream.

The results were really WOWING. Lots of improvement and surprises! Just wish I was able to watch it live on the livestream.
