Thank you very much, Mrs. P! I guess I will only watch the last three groups, then... Hopefully it won't collide with any appointments I have.

EDIT: Just checked. I will miss the entire SP and most of the Ladies FS

Anyone else excited to see Elizabet Turzynbaeva? I notice too that Yuka Nagai will be there but Evaline Brunner will not (senior WC's maybe ??).

Thank you for the list Mrs P.

I wonder why Nicole Rajičová is not considered a favorite to win if she has the highest scores.

Check the predictions, most people believe one of the Russians will win.

Rajicova has done both senior and junior competitions, so she just simply has more competitions = more points = higher ranking. She finished behind the Russian ladies in the JGP.

I get it now. Is there any website where we could see the scores of the contestants this year?

Tyler Pierce, IIRC was injured for the early part of the season, so I think that's why she didn't get any JGP events.

and how about the second Korean entrant: Eun Su YOON
How can she compete without meeting the criteria or am I missing something?

Zhenia and Sima both have a 12pt SB over Wakaba :jaw:

Going by that stat it's more likely that Sotskova can overtake Wakaba for the last podium spot. Even with that said....I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Wakaba steal second. This should be a great event and I think the top four have a legitiment chance of winning. Even Sotskova who is most likely to take fourth could win. Don't forget she won JGPF last season and has that crazy combo of hers worth 11.77 BV!! 3z-1lo-3s

Dark horses are there too....Karen Chen is probably good enough if clean to challenge for a podium and Yuka and Elizabet are great to watch!

Eunsu Yoon ranked 2nd at 2014 Lombardia Trophy, 9th at 2014 Leo Scheu Memorial, both as Junior. She got minimum tes scores at these competitions, so she can compete WJC. It was first time to compete international event to her at 2014 Lombardia. But she doesn't have ranking point because she has not competed ISU championships.

Here is her biography. It have yet to registered in ISU official entries.

Random question, but what are the chances of the US both getting 3 spots and the most JGP spots?

USA has to be among the top 3 placed countries, and right now it looks like Russia and Japan are seeded top 2, but the US is right next in line. They can't afford an off-day, though, like last year.
