I think it will be impossible even in dreams for Zhiganshina/Gazsi to place 5th, or any place, in Pairs.
haha I just noticed
(lol I copy past is a dangerous thing)
Im so sad they Z/S leave the sport Id take them switching to pairs just to continue seeing their programs

..........For pairs from any country......my hope is that the technical mastery AND ARTISTRY of a clean K/S and P/T will trump quads of any kind by the Canadian pair (unless the Canadians have done an artistic turn- around)
we can only hope at this point:cry:
good dream though:love:

My dream podium is

Liza
Ashley
Kanako

I'm having a meltdown today because my favourite football player just totally ruined the most important game of the season. I need some good things in my sports-fan life. Seriously. Plz girls, save me.

My dream podium for men and ladies

Men:

1) Mura (I just want to see two clean programs from Takahito, especially his LP, my favorite free program of the season among men)
2) Denis (but actually I think it will be hard for him to show such perfect programs like at 4CC)
3) Yuzuru/Javi/Han

Ladies:

1) Elena (I want this awesome girl finally to win over Liza, she's worked in this season so hard and she's shown great stability, so I think she deserve the win)
2) Liza (hope she will land 3A)
3) Zijun Li

I am so excited for the ladies event! I think that if all of the top ladies skate to the best of the abilities this World Championships will be the most competitive competition I have seen in my lifetime. I can't recall a deeper field. All of the top ladies have a 3/3 in their arsenal and it's genuinely exciting. I want and predict a win for Ashley, but the field is so deep that I can see any number of potential podiums happening. I can't wait to see how it plays out. Hopefully, all of the ladies bring it. This event could be outstanding.

As long as we're talking "dreams", I'm going to cheat. Gold medalists only:

Men: John Curry
Ladies: Michelle Kwan
Pairs: Protopopovs
Dance: Torvill and Dean

Now, wouldn't THAT be a competition for the ages! I'd have to take a week off work to recover. :laugh2:
