On the ice serious gothic lady, in real life little girl with baby voice. Wanna hug her.
I'm not Russian speaker, but she talks about moving to Moscow, living with dad apart from mom who stayed in Omsk, that she likes Bratislava, tourney, working in Tutberidze group, she doesn't have one idol, but she likes the way Carol skates, Julia spins and Voronov competes. Doesn't remember first time on ice, first skating memory is struggling with "lastochka".
Polina has no single fav music band, in free times likes to draw and watch detective TV series.
She is with Eteri´s group? How it is possible? Yulia, Evgenia, Serafima (I know she is not there now) and Polina? everyone sooo talented
I tried to translate the interview, sorry for my bad English
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
M.Sharov: Polina, first of all I congratulate you on the outstanding performance and the convicting victory. Share you impressions of the event and Bratislava
Polina: Thank you very much for congratulations. For me it all was at the first time, it’s very interesting, unusually, not the same as in Russia. The city is very beautiful, ancient, I managed to take a walk – it’s holiday. I bought some souvenirs and gifts.
M.Sharov: What are planning for this season?
Polina: Of course, the main task is to skate clean and to demonstrate all I can. There is a strong wish to be selected to JGPF and to JW.
M.Sharov: Let’s speak about what you everything began with in figure skating. Why your parents decided to send to FS?
Polina: In the childhood I was very vigorous child therefore my parents decided to send my energy to the correct course. There was a skating rink near my home so my parents sent me to figure skating.
M.Sharov: Do you remember how you went out to ice for the first time?
Polina: No, I don’t. As my relatives told, I went out to ice and I ran. That is I was afraid of nothing, may be I fell, but I didn’t feel fear.
M.Sharov: And what is your first conscious reminiscence of figure skating?
Polina: I remember that I didn't like to make the Arabesque spiral – it was a very difficult element and I’ve been always upset because I’ve been struggled with it for a long time.
M.Sharov: Two years ago you moved to Moscow. Whether it was easy to get used to the new city and mainly – to the new group and the new coach?
Polina: To me the moving wasn't heavy to be worried. It was heavy to my parents: I lived in Moscow with my father, and my mother lived in Omsk. I was very glad to start skating in the same group of Yulia Lipnitskaya, Zhenia Medvedeva, Moris (Kvitelashvili), Adyan (Pitkeev) under the coaching of E.Tutberidze and S.Dudakov. But the same time it was much terrible to me.
M.Sharov: Tell about the programs: who proposed the music, who is the choreographer?
Polina: The free skating program was left from the last season. The music was offered and the program was choreographed by E.Tutberidze. We decided to leave it for the next season because this program is very much pleasant to all and it very much suits me. The short program – the music was offered by E.Tutberidze and D.Gleichenhauz. We decided to try a new image for me – Spain.
M.Sharov: Tell abot the free skating in more details – what is the image in it?
Polina: It’s the music from the “Chess” musical, but just the program was directed based on the story “Alice in Wonderland”, where Alice gets to the Snow Queen and they play cards battling. Just because of it I have the cards on my palms - hearts and peaks.
M.Sharov: Do you like to watch FS on a tribune or on TV? Or your own trainings and competitions are enough for you?
Polina: Of course, I like to watch FS. And if to watch on a tribune – it is absolutely remarkably, because you can see the emotions, the struggle. But if I have no such opportunity – I watch it on TV or on the computer with pleasure.
M.Sharov: Is there any skater of present or past whom you wanna resemble? Have you a favorite skater?
Polina: I have no favorite skaters, but I wanna skate as Carolina Kostner – wide, beautiful. To spin – Yulia Lipnitskaya has very good spins. Also it would be desirable to present the program also emotionally as, for example, Sergey Voronov.
M.Sharov: Have you favorite or unloved elements?
Polina: I would say that I haven’t any favorite or unloved ones, but I most like jump elements (smiling).
M.Sharov: Whether happens terribly before any routine?
Polina: It is rather not fear, but excitement. The excitement is present at each athlete, just need to learn to cope with it.
M.Sharov: Wich number do you like skate – at the beginning or at the end of a warm-up?
Polina: I already learned to skate with any start number as we have skates every day and it is necessary me to skate at the beginning, at the end, in the middle. But the last year I preferred more to skate at the beginning.
M.Sharov: How do you adjust yourself before a routine, what are you thinking about in that moment?
Polina: Depending on a situation. I try to think about the routine, about the good only, about I can do all. everything turns out at the practices and there is no necessary to worry much.
M.Sharov: And during the routine? Does it happen so - some foreign thought comes?
Polina: No, it doesn’t happen, I am always concentrated on the routine.
M.Sharov: It is known that young figure skaters have no much time to go to school owing to it their education suffers. Many fans worry about it. How are you with it?
Polina: I go to school every day to three lessons, on Friday I go to school on for the whole day because Friday is my holiday on the rink and I carry out everything what my school teachers set. I study well, for 4 and 5 marks [at five-point system of education]
M.Sharov: And have you a favorite subject or unloved one?
Polina: Yes, I like physics and algebra, don’t like history.
M.Sharov: How do like to spend your free time (if it happens, of course)?
Polina: Certainly, it isn't enough free time for me, but I like drawing and watching detective TV series much.
M.Sharov: And what kind of music do you like listening to?
Polina: I have no particular preference in music, I listen to everything that I like.
M.Sharov: Well, thanks for the interview, I wish you success in the further season.
Polina: Thank you very much.

P.S. Polina leaves the impression of a very humble and well-mannered girl. Good luck to her!
So, she will have her 2nd event this week. What do you think, will she break the World Junior Record of 194.29 set by Radionova? And I don't mean just JGP Poland but also the JGPF and the Junior Worlds. I doubt that it would happen in Poland but later in the season, who knows.
