Nathan is 2 time novice, 2 time junior national champion and 1 time national bronze medalist, as well as 2014 Junior Worlds bronze medalist
he has had great career so far even for such young age young, apart from junior worlds this year, he never finished off the podium at international competitions,
2014-2015 season wasnt easy for him with all the injuries and growing but to me he is still one of the most promising skaters from US for the future, i just hope he can stay injury free and not train too hard
i love his skating, he has got great SS, spins great jumps (although not very high yet) and overall quality elements,

He was very good at Nationals in seniors, but I think he would do better to stay junior internationally.

here is the interview of him with TSL, they talk about his injuries (now he has shoulder injury i hope he will have injury free season and career!), JGP, how organised his wikipedia page is (i agree! when i was preparing his OP i didnt need to check other places for info, i could just find so many info there and sources, so good job mom and dad ), and Adan&Ashley's hair
and i am glad he is keeping his SP, he said he felt really uncomfortable at 1st and thought "what are we doing here" but then he started feeling good about it, i hope he will have more programs like this cause obviously he can move!

I enjoyed the TSL interview with Nathan, although it was a bit shorter than their usual interviews. I guess it's b/c his career is young, or he didn't have much time to talk with them, if he's prepping for Glacier Falls.

I'm glad we got clarity on why he's doing the JGP (he didn't have enough points to go Senior), yet he's competing on a national level as a Senior.

He seems like an intelligent young man with a good head on his shoulders, so best of luck to him and hope his growing pains get better.

He spoke so fast at the beginning of the interview! I didn't know he and Nam were constantly compared to each other and I like how he is handling it. Overall he seems really down to earth and sweet. I look forward to seeing him at JGP and hope for an injury free season too.

they asked the same question to Nam and he was really mature about it too, he said he saw Nathan perform 3A and other elements beautifully and thought "wow, he is really good", said he has great SS but then he shook the feeling off and focused on himself , its gonna be exciting to watch them at senior circuit

i dont know if we will see them compete at the same competition before GPF (if they can manage to go there), and Nathan will be at senior nationals, Andrew and Vincent probably not? but regardless of competing at the same competition its gonna be exciting who will lead, my money is on Nathan if he can be injury free and i have a feeling that Tomoki Hiwatashi will be in the mix as well(saw him at Skate Detroit for the 1st time and really impressed with him!)

While all three are competing junior internationally this year (well... Andrew is out with a broken ankle, so it's unclear if he will compete this senior at all), all three have also indicated they are competing senior at Nationals this year. I would not be surprised if Vincent shows up with a quad or two himself.

Just watched Tomoki's 2015 program at Nationals because of your post. Hey, I like him, too! He seems younger than the above three (and not quite at the same caliber yet) but he looks like he has great potential. That's exciting to see!!

ohh didnt know they all mentioned they will compete senior nationally, and its a shame about Andrew, he had good momentum last year, and JW was amazing, , i wish him speed recovery !
i agree about Tomoki, he isnt there with those 3 yet but he has lots of potential, and he has biellman spin! he is older than both Andrew and Vincent btw

Edit: Here is Nathan's SP at Glacier Falls, i really love it!! and he won the event cant wait to see his LP!

I've had a soft spot for Nathan for several years now. It's been fun watching him develop (very impressed with his senior debut @ US Nationals). Too bad that Andrew is out with the broken ankle.

Good skating by him. I think he may be dark horse for national title this season if he just can stay injuiry free and gain consistency on quads an 3A

    Amen!
it was really good, i am curious about performance aspect which we cant see at the video, music is very dramatic and he needs to dig deep, but i know he can do it
i also wonder what his layout is, was popped Axel supposed to be double or triple? and i love the fact that he does 2Lo2Lo combo instead of 2T2Lo, but he needs to get rid of the illusion spin
btw, i was watching his national EX programs, and he is tooo cute!

I guess Nathan is aiming for 2quad 2 3a program, very competitive even for senior men.
