I think tomorrow's broadcast is actually available online (on FujiTV, channel 006). I am there right now, and I do see 'The Ice' scheduled at 4. :)

That would be a pleasant surprise!!! I hope you're right, because it's scheduled for the local Kanto channel only (not for the general Fuji TV channel). We'll find out soon, I guess. :) Gosh, I'm actually nervous! Together with Friends on Ice it's the show I'm looking most forward to this off-season. :hap85::palmf:

Remy Rose posted this link in the Adelina Sotnikova thread for the Osaka show. https://mov3.co/en/fujitv/ on July 29 at 4:25 - 5:25 pm JST (3:25 am EST on July 29 for US).

Yes, that's the streaming link I use to watch Fuji TV, but I think it starts at 4 pm JST (so it should be 3am EST then?) :)

This looks cool! Are they doing a group flamenco number?

^^^Your times are correct. I changed my post. I misread it and thought it was only an hour long. I guess we'll see in a few minutes if the link works! Love the photos you posted!

ETA -- Interesting pants! :handw: Still think I prefer the purple ones!

Grrr, missed Shomita. I'm back with a sandwich and a Diet Coke so I'll wake up!

They kept a lot of the old choreography for Turandot. Will have to rewatch it to make out all the changes...

They definitely used new music cuts and a different version with a different singer at the end!

I have to believe they're still working on the choreography, but very different music cuts. Different choreo. I have to watch it again - did I miss the 3 jump combo? It's gonna be a great program!

ETA -- Whew -- rolling 3's into the 4T. Beautiful. Like the (accidental) jogging. Good ad-libbing there Uno Shoma san!...So there were (3) 3As in there. My guess is that's supposed to be a 3A alone, a 3-3 combination, and a 3 jump combo. Yahoo! :hap57: Keep plugging away Shomita!

To me, it looks like the first 3A is clearly a substitute for something else (and that can only be a new jump -- 4Lz, otherwise he'll have to make a lot of changes). I guess he will be doing both combinations from the previous year (3A-3T and his majestic 3A-1Lo-3F), and obviously another combination with one of 4Ts as well (4T-2T). 4F is definitely staying in the second half, oh my. That'll be really hard (I mean, for us to watch, not only for Shomita to jump).
Overall, a promising start, but I expect a lot of changes before the start of the season, and perhaps even during the season. It looked quite dark in that light and costume, and with this new musical cut.

UPD: I keep starting new pages on Sho's thread.

Ah, oh no, oh no. Compared to Buenos Aires Hora Cero, this Turandot 2.0 is a nice contrast. Soft movements. I think I'm falling in love all over his program again. What do I do? Oh no.

Thanks everyone for sharing all the info and videos, Seeing it.....is weird. I have to get used to it. On one hand I'm glad that it's different to Turandot 1.0 on the other there are some parts in Turandot 1.0 that I adored that are missing. I agree with Arriba that it still looks a bit empty. It's definitely interesting. I also think the lighting was kind of dark and the rink looks small, so he hesitated going into some of the jumps. Other than that it has the CANTILEVER and the crescendo at the ending spin that makes for standing ovations. Potential to be great. I still don't understand the orange stripe of his costume. What is that?

While it still looks a bit empty, there are moments that have me gasping. His movements in Buenos Aires Hora Cero are--I would say, associated with straight line, something sharp. And here, his hands make soft circular shapes. They are pulling me in.

Why did they turn off the lights during his ending pose?!

I still don't understand the orange stripe of his costume. What is that?

I don't either--it bothers me. Is it the intended color? Is it supposed to be skin mesh? Will we ever know?

Nice changes to the choreography and music cuts to the program! IMO This version will be different on so many levels.
Shomita has grown artistically in his interpretation of music in 2 years and technically we know what he is
capable of. The program he skated today is still in early stages but you can see glimpses of Shomajesty's brilliance.

Thank to everyone for all the updates! :)
