You do know that there is two of them, right? I mean two skaters named Anastasia Gubanova, one single skater and the other one is a pair skater.

Her short program last season was just gorgeous. She and Liza Nugumanova are the future of Russian ladies' FS. God keep them free from injuries.

Anastasia Gubanova first landed triple (3F) in competition being 8 years 11 months old.
Now she lands in FS 3Lz+3Lo and 3Lz+3T+2T (here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=QcVO1-xpiuE#t=40 we see that third jump - 2T - is big and powerful, I believe she could land triple instead of double, but at current rules it makes no sense).

She is just amazing and an incredible talent, I think she could present 3Lz+3T+3T very early in her career, It's just look so easy for her :D

such power for a young girl! i hope she can survive puberty, so many great skaters from russia, i cant decide if its blessing or curse, definitely good for the sport but hard for skaters to compete at international stage :hopelessness:
anyway, i wish her all the best! :cheer:

Another one from Russian Cup Final with sound:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO4DvPr1nT0

I know she's great jumps, speed, etc., but it's those hands that hypnotize me.
It's well studied and brilliantly performed movement for sure, but there are stretches when she improvises and it looks even more amazing. Natural elegance.

and what a beautiful entry in her last spin and she is so graceful like a little ballerina :)
