Although Kwan wasn't very flexible, her spirals were on the same level as skaters far more flexible like Mao, Mirai and Adelina.

Personally, I think Karen Chen and Caroline Zhang have the best spirals. Yulia's are great but she never holds them and it's irritating. Adelina has an amazing Charlotte.

I actually thought her spiral in the ChSeq for SL was about as good as it gets. YMMV but it was such an iconic moment of the Sochi games for me.

Sasha was the best though IMO but the rules were different then and as such I am quite certain the amount of practice skaters put into them was too.

It's a points game, that's why she doesn't really hold them - like why Evgeni backloads her programs and tanos a lot of her jumps.
