Angelique and Louis in 3e, :cheer:
So excited to see what happens tomorrow!

I also think Marie-Jade & Romain have a good chance of a medal in the Linx JGP :)
Allez France....

P/V SD was great, but L/D easily win waltz part for me. But overall very solid SD with some creative things. And Finally Yuriy showed he can be fierce too, I'd say he ALMOST was not overshadowed by Betina, which is a VERY hard thing to do. At least I caught myself looking at him much more than in their SD and FD in the last season combined. And she's gorgeous as always.
French couple impressed me, vey good smooth movements, and she's so pretty. Very nice SD.
And C/P improved a lot. I think next season after Parsons and M/C will go seniors they will be a real threat for all the teams, maybe even leaders. They still need to work on some things, but their potential is obvious.
And I'm not going to comment on E/B SD. I'll just say he looks awkward. Like a bear dancing with Thumbelina.

Edit: forgot to mention that Betina needs to do something with these hands movements, they're too chaotic.

Popova does her usual overemoting. I really just want to give her a cup of valerian tea and tell her, Sit in the sun, relax. Plus I couldn't stand the cognitive dissonance between this heavy heavy bombastic music and their smiles. If you're going to do angst pangst traumadrama, then do angst pangst traumadrama. Not my cuppa--especially for a waltz--but it's a big cafe. Did they deserve to win the SD? Absolutely--the experience shows. But I don't see them making a huge splash in seniors. YMMV of course.

L/D has more long-term potential. Just sayin'...

C/P just ooze the charm don't they? It's a good pairing. She has got acting skills galore. The first lift is still a cumbersome mess though.

Shame about the twizzles for the French, but the placement is correct.

Surprisingly, I thought I would like L/B more, but I don't see it. He tries too hard to force the action while she's trying desperately to keep up, with a forced smile. If they can learn to skate together I would enjoy them more. I find Igor's pairs much more impressive. What are the Russian specialists not getting? With very few exceptions the basic skating of their dancers is very rough. Unless the dancers themselves don't appreciate the benefits of having great skating skills?
