Thanks!

There's Sakhanovich, as I expected.

Sauter there, too, after her previous WD from an earlier event.

Wakaba FINALLY gets 2 events!

EDIT: I know it's too early to speculate and the entries will probably shift around, but the jgpf will probably be some combination of Polina, Serafima, Maria, Wakaba, Marin, Kaori, Mai, Yuna (Shir.), and Alexandra Proklova.

Russia vs. Japan, no doubt about that

I am also pretty sure about first four (Maria, Polina, Seraphima,Wakaba). But I dont see how Mai or Kaori can go through
in the current setting, unless Japan Fed moves Mai to another (6th) stage. I would add Alicia F to your list, she also has some
chances if she comes first at 6th event which does not look impossible. Absolutely nothing is known about Alexandra.

i know entries can change any moment and i know i am biaed but seeing Matyas as sub once again is pissing me off :disapp:
good luck to Marin and Wakaba:cheer: i think Marin's chance of making to JGPF just got harder :hopelessness: also good luck to Elif, i am curious to see how much she improved :cheer:

Did Czech Republic only get 2 spots total? IIRC Jiri was national jr champ so I guess I understand why it's like that...but I also prefer Matyas. :)

i think its more like 4 tickets rather than 2 spots, i am not sure though:shrug: but they are giving Petr 2 assignments as well, they could just give one assignment to each and then give 4th to whoever does best, but as i said i am biased

Changes so far:

Men - Hiwatashi (USA) replaces Borromeo
Ladies - Schott (GER) replaces Bock, NED entry out, Nunez (USA) replaces ...someone (I edited the list and now I forget who was there originally)
Dance - Abachkina/Thauron (FRA) replace Galayavieva/Abecassis, Parsons/Parsons (USA) replace McNamara/Carpenter [Assignments switched around - M/C are in Poland now]

Interesting... I guess another country switch just happened.

Mark GORODNITSKY ISR was 3rd at 2015 Skate Canada Challenge Pre-Novice Nat'ls

In Dance, KONKINA / REVIYA have been replaced by SHEVCHENKO / EREMENKO who have 11 points and 138.84 total points from Bratislava.

I have a suspicion that after the event in Spain, whichever of SHPILEVAYA / SMIRNOV or SKOPTCOVA / ALESHIN has the most points / highest total point count will get the other spot in Croatia. SKOPTCOVA /ALESHIN has 11 points and 141.61 total points from the event in Torun.

The goal, I suppose, is to block the French team ABACHKINA / THAURON from taking silver and a JGPF ticket (they have a silver medal and 139.05 total points from Riga).

Gold will probably go to the PARSONS who earned 15 points and 149.42 total points in Bratislava, but of course ice is slippery. They need only win a bronze to make it to the JGPF.

Now here's a question in Dance:

Scheduled for Croatia:
SHEVCHENKO / EREMENKO have 11 points from SVK where they earned 138.84 points
SPHILEVAYA / SMIRNOV have 9 points from ESP where they earned 140.39 points

but

SKOPTCOVA / ALESHIN have 11 points from POL where they earned 141.61 points

which two teams will Russia send to Croatia? S/E and S/A are new teams in their first season of competition; S/S are in their second season.

I'm guessing S&A will replace S&S. Let's see what happens on Monday. S&E are in. Russia moved them there last week after S&A had skated so S&E have already been selected ahead of S&A.
