That was a pretty decent competition. Not sure when the last time the Top 5 in a JGP scored over 50.
Really impressive performance from A/S to take the lead, they area really impressive couple, good pairs elements with a real good performance quality. Not a huge fan of their coach (Pavlova) but she does create good programmes that stand out from the pack. I also really like the B/S, they had great speed and attack, pity about the double axel otherwise they would have been very close to the lead.
The Canadians had a good performance as well to get a PB, though I really didn't like their music. I enjoy G/S but they had to many mistakes to be place higher, hopefully they have a better performance in the FS, her jumps are not very secure which will be an issue once they go Senior.
I'm gonna give a special mention to Team GB, they had slightly easier technical stuff but they give it everything, I liked the spin at the beginning. Good luck to them in the FS.
