For the last Canadian team to make the JGPF, they have to either win(not gonna happen) or get 2nd with a LP score of 94.38(a tall order).


The likely JGPF entries are...

That's exciting! A Czech pairs team in the JGPF!

A strong skate from B/S to take the overall victory, they were impressive in all the pairs elements with strong lifts and throws but the SBS were only a 2A and 2T2T, I'm not sure if the 3T is there. I like both their programmes, well choreographed and skated. Second were A/S with a slightly disappointing skate, scoring just under 90 and well down on their seasons best. Amina was a little of fell on the 3T (so no 3 jump combo), had a downgraded 3S, a tough on Th3L and badly two footed Th3S. Still there was enough in their skating to show their overall quality, fourth in the free but 2nd overall and top qualifier for the JGP.

Third was G/S pulling up from 4th after the short with a new PB in the long. I like both their programmes and they use the vocals from Earth Song quite well. Her jumps are a bit of an issue and I think she was a bit of form all weekend. Still they qualify for the JGP. Interesting that both the 1st and 3rd couples are coached by Tiukov's and have an issue with the SBS, not sure if it is a coaching problem or what. I really liked the Canadians in the free, they are first reserve for the JGP.

Funny to see that there was 4 JGP's with Pairs and each one had a different winner. The 3 Russian couples here and the Ukrainians, nice to see that the Czechs have also made the JGP final.
