Alina and Nikita did not lose their lift, it were Anna and Martin
As for the invalid lift, I think the lifting arm was not straightened out. The Russians lost points in their step sequence and DS, a whole level less than the Czech. But their triple twist was really nice, the Czech only did a double, the Russians a triple. As for the Russian lift, I enjoyed the entry into to it, what she did with her leg, that looked gorgeous.
First of all, love your reports! I am glad you seem to have enjoyed the competition immensely! As for the 4Li of Anna and Martin, they start rotating clockwise and as the requirement is a Loop Lift take off for this season, she should then take off from the left foot which she didn't. It's explained in the latest Q&A on this element on the ISU website. Of course the coach and the pair are informed now so they will change it for the JGPF.
Thank you @cathlen for the link. I finally got to see a few videos at the men's event.I'm glad NRW Trophy upload videos. Definitely will watch few of them after reading reports & comments here
For those looking for videos, I finally found time to create a Videos/Results thread for NRW Trophy
