Apparently Sota attempted two 4T and two 3A.
He landed a 3A-3T but singled the second one, and fell on both 4T.

Pushing it...well, I hope it's ready for the JGPF, if not, he can take one 4T out. Needs to skate clean at the final.

I think it's good for Sota to challenge himself in national competitions because he's not facing much competition honestly, so he might as well go for everything. I was surprised about Yuhana winning, I like her a lot because she's a big Akiko fan but I see her tech isn't really high. I hope it's just that many of the main contenders were not overly concerned about these comps and are focusing more on Jr Nats and the JGPF... I hope to see a good showing at jr nats from many of the ladies because it's going to be crazy!

Thanks to NMURA for posting results!

1.Wakaba HIGUCHI 2 1 171.84
2.Yuna AOKI 1 3 163.95
3.Akari MATSUBARA 3 2 156.96
Top 9 qualified for junior nationals

Higuchi SP:2Lz-2T 3Fe 2A, FS:3Lz-1Lo 3S 3Lz-3T 2A 3Lo 3F!-2T-2Lo 2A
Aoki SP:3Lz-3Lo 3F 2A, FS:1Lz 2A-3T-2T 2A 3S 3Lz-2Lo 3Lo 3F
Matsubara SP:3F! 3S-3T 2A fell on LSp, FS: 3Lo 3F 3Lz 2A-3T-2T 3S-2T 3S-3T 2A

Aoki still has problems with the FS but she nailed 2A-3T for the first time. As for Higuchi, I thought this was a good place for trying the 3A...
