Nightwish

This... this band is nothing short of spectacular! Just listen to Tarja's singing and the band's amazing talent in what instruments they are playing! I mean they get compare to Evanescence, Lacuna Coil etc. but these Finns are so good! I bought their CD "Oceanborn" today and I am in a state of awe!

They are, I agree! The heavy metal they play and Tarja's beautiful opera-like vocals make the most interesting combination. You get hooked on their music because it's just so powerful. "Century Child" and "Oceanborn" are so far their best albums, songs like Bless The Child, Walking In The Air and Sleeping Sun are amazing. I haven't checked their latest album yet but I'm planning to buy it.

Have you heard of HIM or The Rasmus? They do very similar music to Nightwish. "Razorblade Romance" is my favorite by HIM.
