Kristi Yamaguchi's daughter? Emma? Did I miss her name on the list? And isn't she like 9 or 10 years old, which is really young for Novice? I saw a clip of her skate from a year ago in a show with her mom, and she was doing single loop and single flip.

For anyone curious about Emma:

2016 Central Pacific Regionals

One skater which stood out to several of us at Northwest Pacific Regionals was actually a Juvenile-level skater from Sherwood, Oregon named Samuel Mindra.

He apparently has skated since he was 4 (he is 11 now), and for most of the time, was self-taught; he's only started having coaching for a year or so - but has ALL his doubles, including a very nice Axel, great spins, footwork, very mature skating and good technique. And personality/musicality to boot.

He's definitely one to watch!

A little blip about him, with video: http://www.kgw.com/story/news/2015/05/26/local-figure-skater-making-name-for-self/27985433/

Yes she did!
I was surprised to see Bradie's name in your listing. Since she is the 2015 Junior Champion, I thought USFS might have sent her to a second JGP or Sr. B to coincide with Regionals. Good showing, regardless.

Self taught? Wow! I'll have to make time to look him up on IN.

I've gone through the senior and some of the junior vids, but I usually don't go back any farther. IN's cataloging system for their videos is a mess and so hard to navigate.
