I'm here. And so glad that Samarin changed his shirt. Good skate from him...I'm not a fan, but this was the best I've seen him do.

Nadeau is good but I'm sorry, I don't think he deserves higher scores than Deniss Vasiljevs, no way.

Samarin could barely finish the program before celebrating lol. Great job though, and this costume is sooo much better, although I could do without the giant eagle on his back.

Two American junior mens making the JGPF. Now the USA officially has 3 JGPF entries and most likely a 4th after tomorrow.

What a pleasant surprise to see Tomaki on the podium! His first JGP medal, along with Nicolas Nadeau!

The U.S. men had a decent showing the JGP, medaling at 6 out of 7 events. Great job!

Tomoki gets a medal!! He's one of my favorite little firecrackers, I first noticed him at Nationals last year so I'm really happy to see him doing well. And big congrats to Samarin and Nadeau, for some truly excellent skates and well deserved medals.

And Vincent in the finals!

So I'd like to think that after seeing four junior men podium on the JGP and two men make the JGPF and five different ice dance teams podium on the JGPF and also got two JGPF berths (well likely at this point) that USFS will pay more attention to those two disciplines and less on ladies....I'm obviously dreaming. :D

Yeah. I hope so. Though I do want our ladies and our pairs to keep improving.

Though men's and ice dancing are probably my top 2 fave disciplines.

Would have been even better if Torgashev had competed. It took a couple years to get depth again after Jason and Josh went Senior but the US Men are as deep in Juniors as they have ever been. When Nathan goes Senior next season the cupboard won't be bare with Vincent, Andrew and Alexi returning.

Samarin was on fire today. Too bad he could not make it to the final. Sorry, but Sadovsky is way too far away at this point but he keeps getting his JGPF spots.

Awesome! If only our ladies & pairs could do that, LOL.

And I think men's might have just eclipsed dance as the US's best junior discipline. Didn't see that coming...haha, not. :)
