A bit of a rough skate for Gabby... She's still a bit rough around the edges for me. At the moment, I would definitely see her as the third-ranked Canadian.

Also, I would like to see her branch out to another style of program...

Yeah I like her music but not for her. Would love to see her with a Helgesson like program.

Well Gabby achieved a new PB. That's something to be proud of. Now all of the top 3 current Canadian ladies have scored 170+ in an international competition at least once.

Gaby got a little lucky with that score. But even if she was around 105 she still would have been 4th over all. Hopefully this will give her a boost to see that the judges are willing to mark her well if she skates well. Unfortunately I can't recall her skating a clean Long program at an international event in some time.
