Viveca is a serious young lady. Her coach is Virpi Horttana, who also coached Laura Lepistö. She's already a better jumper than no-3F Laura and more flexible, so I see great things waiting for her. She's the only skater I can see bringing two spots for Finland in Helsinki 2017 Worlds.

Good luck to Viveca tomorrow at the Tallinn Trophy! I am very excited to see her again!

ETA: And by tomorrow I actually mean November 18... I totally missed that there is a few weeks break in the series now :palmf:

While Viveca doesn't have the most technically challenging program(lacking a triple, only 6), it's still a pretty good FS and she does have every triple and repeats the lutz. This is much better than the majority of her competitors if she can skate it somewhat clean. I'd estimate that in the best case scenario, she can jump up 3 spots and take 8th. Top 10 she should be able to achieve if she does a decent skate, a bit better than at Finnish nationals should do.

If you are going to cheer for Finland you should learn to say: "Heja Suomi!":)

Meanwhile, I liked what I saw of Viveca, and I think she has a bright future ahead of her.:)

ETA - It's funny that she has the same name as the Swedish actress:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viveca_Lindfors

Were her parents fans, or is it pure happenstance?

A little correction: "Heja Suomi" is wrong, because "Heja" is Swedish. If you want to cheer for Finland, you should learn to say: "Hyvä Suomi!" That's Finnish!

Ah, thanks for the correction. I've always said "Heja Suomi", but then it's probably the result of being born & bred in Sweden, and having a Finnish mother. Things have got a bit mixed, I suppose.:)
