For some of the elements I feel like they should be able to do them much easier than they evidently can because they have an ENORMOUS height and size difference... hopefully if they stay together they'll be able to figure out how to utilize that to their advantage. In particular I feel like at a minimum the twist, throw, and lift could be much better.

I regret having said the Lithuanians were hard to watch. I'd watch them again in a heartbeat about now... Nice lift from these guys though.

Mari and Rubens SBS jumps really are getting pretty consistent... very nice skate, not their best but a big cut above anyone else here so far.

The competition is without audience for safety reason, or what?

 It is still afternoon on a Wednesday, and to be honest all of these pairs are relative unknowns, especially to anyone who isn't at least a moderate skating fan. Even most casual fans wouldn't know anyone here except Aliona, and they might or might not recognize her/her name without Robin/his name.

I'm so excited about the last group because of Savchenko and Massot's debut.

What a shame! I was at Russian Cup stage at Samara, it was at 3 p.m., and there was much more people watching!

Aliona with a hand down-stepout on the toe. Small twofoot on throw. But jeez, their elements are huge.
