I'm so excited for Kevin! But I know better than not to be nervous. Thank goodness I'll busy busy busy all day the day of the SP. I mean I know it's mean to say. But I can't bear to see more heartbreak. After the SP results, I'll decide if I'll have the courage to see the stream of the FP. That is if I can see a stream.

I am so happy for Kevin! He looks fresh and similar to his good days. Short program was never his best. I guess he is too nervous and always slightly under rotates the quads in the SP but all around he was excellent. I also think he should lead, though Nadeau was quite good too. Actually they are pretty close. Hopefully Kevin will do a nice LP tomorrow. He improved so much in his skating skills.

When I saw how well he did on his SP, I was so relieved and happy that I almost started to tear up! I was right to keep hoping! No falls! Okay an UR 4S, but still! I'm relieved!

Amidst all the cheers for Kevin's comeback, I want to say bravo to Nicolas Nadeau for winning the SP. Well done young man, and keep up the good work.

Good luck to Kevin!

After watching his SP I was very happy to see that he has recovered from his injury
and is skating very well all things considered.

Welcome back Kevin!!!!:hap10:

Oh, Rogozine, that's kind of sad for former junior world champ.

Rogozine is 12th so far in the total score in the FS and the last group which includes Nadeau, Reynolds and Messing has not skated yet. So he will not make the top 13 ( 13 because Messing who has a bye to nationals is competing here; otherwise it would be 12 ).

Rogozine will not be at nationals. That is pretty sure now.

He unfortunately popped both of his quad attempts to doubles. But he fought so hard for everything after that.

As long as he didn't give up is all what mattered. 1st with one left to go. That's good for me. That means yes for nationals. yes?

What's up with Rogozine?  :sad21:

Personally not surprised. He never chose to skate the free skate in any of the summer competitions he attended.

In the Thornhill SP, I noticed he was only on the ice for the last minute of the warmup only.

You have to seriously question his work ethic right now.

You have to seriously question his work ethic right now.

It sounds more like a motivation issue, unless there are other physical or situational factor(s) involved.
