Her programs and presentation are so interesting!
I hope she can improve her tech so that the rest of the World can see her.
Go Yuhana!

I've always like Yuhana because of all the younger skaters she really reminds me of Akiko the most. Though in the past I wasn't sure she'd be able to break through on the upper level because she's not quite there with the tech stuff but in national competitions she's had an excellent season so I hope she's able to continue with that and gets some JGP assignments next season.

I'm reposting this from the Team Japan thread:

Yuhana Yokoi landed 3A in a practice (around 2:12)

Yuhana was under such a pressure as she is the only one skater who could not attend JGPS this season among JSF certified junior ladies. Patience, Yuhana. There are many competitions left where you can show your ability. I hope she will be able to acquire something other than strong expression.

Her Burlesque routine was choreographed by Akiko Suzuki.

At Junior Nationals, she sealed away the triple axel in order to qualify for Senior Nationals.

Hopefully she has no reason to seal it away anymore.

I discovered it there is little , Akiko Suzuki has really done beautiful work with her, I like her SP The Lion King and his LP on Burlesque.

I did not know that she is 17 yers old why is not it at the senior even if Japan still has a lot of talents among seniors, I wonder she skater she will do in the future especially she to a 3A

Actually, the Lion King SP was choreographed by Miko Umekawa, one of her coaches. The Burlesque FS was by Akiko.

She remained in junior this season because, as you wrote, the senior field was already too deep. There were seven Japanese ladies in GPS, and Yuhana had a better chance of being sent to JGPS. Rin Nitaya, another skater of Team Nagakubo remained in junior internationally until 19 to get JGPS spots while switched to senior nationally last season.

I hope Yuhana perform well at Junior world, and whether she will switch to senior next season will depend on it.

Ah yes ? I thought she had choreographed the two anyway they did a good job on the Lion King I like the second part.

Yes it is sure she has time to grow up and it gives him the opportunity to participate in the world of this season, Kaori Sakamoto has also made one more season as a junior. Finally I find it not bad because it will give him time to improve and grow his reputation, I wish him success.

Well done, Yuhana! I'm so proud of you! You proved those who kept criticizing JSF for sending you to JW wrong.

I discovered this girl yesterday, and she's already one of my favourite. Today FS was beautiful, it really moved me and still bring me tears when I rewatch it :sad21:
Plus, she really gives me Yuzu vibes with that dress, I love it
