We don't have a thread for this, so I figured I'd start one. Anyone want PBPs?

Krasnozhon skates very much like the Russian Men. A bit of disconnect with the music and mostly about the jumps.

Interesting - Brian Orser's 1988 Olympic long program music, in an almost exact replica of Brian Boitano's costume :)

That's because he is from Russia and trained at Mishin's school until he came to the US.

The title of the program is "Battle of the Brians"...it's intentional.

Messy skate with some interesting choreographic bits.

Some of Lu's jumps look quite odd, particularly the backend of some of the combos.

This Tomoki kid is a star! His skating has excellent flow, and he didn't seem to suffer as much from stamina problems like the rest of the junior men have so far.

Nice skate by Hiwatashi. I don't suppose any of this really matters too much with respect to the rest of this season, as I suspect Nathan and Vincent will be at JR Worlds (unless they choose to send Nathan only to SR Worlds if he medals).

Justin Ly isn't having a perfect skate, but he looks like he's genuinely enjoying himself and excited to be here, which is very refreshing and a quality I enjoy in skaters.

Tomoki was great! and Layback11, I completely agree with you about Justin's genuine excitement and pleasure in skating.
