Garden State

I just saw the preview for this movie, and I have never been so impressed with a movie based on the trailer alone. I have no idea what its about, and the trailer does little to reveal any info on the plot, but it is a masterpiece.

It is written, directed and acted by Zach Braff sp? who is the lead actor on scrubs... it also stars Natalie Portman and Ian Holm (good to see bilbo getting some work). I cant wait till it comes out!!!!

I am really excited about this movie too, Liz. I have always been a big Natalie Portman fan. She was so wonderful in "The Professional"....and then did a string of mediocre films that did not at all showcase her true talent. It is so painful to watch her uninspired, wooden performances in the "Star Wars" films (although I think that has more to do with George Lucas's direction). She surprised me with a strong, gritty performance in "Cold Mountain". She looks fabulous in this and I hope she is!
