I think it´s time for tiny Rippon-queen Ye Lim Kim to have her own thread. Ye Lim is now 13 years old (born on 23.01.2003). I hope she and Eun Soo Lim are goning to impress on their first jgp season. I love Ye lims donde voy SP this year and hope the judges share my opinion.

Her latest competition:
Korean JGP qualification event

SP
FS

Her next competition is Asian Open Trophy 2016 from 4-7 august.

Yay, thanks for starting the thread! Aside from young, she's my favorite rn. Hope she can keep her 3lz-3lo-2lo consistent! I love that we now have a korean lady whose strongest jump is the loop, haha.

Congrats on taking 2nd! Hoping we can get some videos. Wonder if she'll go back to her crazy layout(6 passes in 2nd half, she did 5 at asian trophy) for jgp?

Ye lim's fs, with the end spins cut off:

I feel like she gave a little more performance-wise here, improved from the jgp test skates. Hope she can keep up the energy a tad better!
If anyone has/finds a higher quality video, that'd be great.

Oh yeah, I wish they would adjust the last minute or so of the program- she finishes well behind the music, it seems like she runs out of time to complete her last spin.

I think she actually scored pretty decently considering the 3-3 was <<. Hope she has a clean fs!

I think she has a great jumping technique for a 13-year-old girl. She wasn't perfect, but she's in her first junior big competition and made a great debut; maybe next season she could qualify to JGP Final! :hap10:
As for now she really needs to work in the component score, interpretation, speed and skating skills need to improve if she wants to be among the top ladies, and she's totally got the potential.

Agree. It looked like she was nervous but she fought, something we really haven't seen in the korean ladies (aside from da bin). Her current coach has really done a good job elevating her skating, jump technique and otherwise, but I hope she can have a better training environment and continue to make big improvements. Thanks to the KSU I'm sure the skaters must feel a lot lacking training in korea.

Wow! Aside from the pop and fact that the music is still too dramatic for her(highlights her weakness in presentation/emoting), she looks really good. More alive? Jump quality looks great. Hope she can get her 3lz-3lo-2lo back soon.
