Surprised his spins were so slow and awkward. He seems to have lost some flexibility. Maybe nerves? At least his jumps are still pretty.

He looks older, but he's still only 16. He'll get better with the hands and the spins.

Hello everybody.
Just decided to take a break from what I was doing to drop in for 15 minutes or so to see what is going on.

And that is the sort of music that you need to be really confident. Just think of what Jim Carrey was like in the film.
Considering it was Sam's first ISU competition, it is not surprising that he was nervous.
But, at least that's that monkey off his back now.
Next time he'll hopefully be able to show some more confidence.
