Vivian is here! But with Alisa and Polina it will be tough. Well, there's also Nic Nadeau, Jun Hwan Cha and Selevko :) Regarding Pairs, Oganesian/Bardei and Duskova/Bidar should be here :) Probably Mishina/Mirzoev too.

Yep, Ustimkina/Volodin will be here also. Don't know about the 3rd Russian pair, maybe Boikova/Kozlovskii or maybe Poluianova/Selkin. I am kind of hoping it would be Boikova/Kozlovskii but we will have to wait and see how they will do at JGP Russia first. In any case, this will be very high quality event.

We have North Korean entries in ladies and men! How cool is that?

Poluyanova/Selkin. Hmmm....after they finished fourth, I was hoping that Sokur/Pleshkov may get their chance. They just won one Russian competition, beating Boikova/Kozlovskii.

They still can skate there. Theye are named as substitute so Russian Fed may change their mind anytime about them :)

I think it is rather unlikely that they would skate here. It is far more likely that Boikova/Kozlovskii would replace Poluianova/Selkin.

Why would Boikova/Kozlovskii deserve second event, considering how low (relatively) they placed at the Russian competition?

Russian competition means nothing in this matter. What matters is JGP Russia and they should have a pretty good chance at bronze there. The Chinese pair is pretty good but totally beatable. If they do get a bronze then they will most definitely get a 2nd event.

Russian competition means that they are not ready yet. They may be ready in a few months time, but that will be too late. They may do well at the nationals and then do well at the junior worlds, but that doesn't mean that they are currently ready for JGP.

what a cakewalk event in Ice Dance
the russian fed will be dumb if they dont move S/S from Slovenia to Germany, they are listed as substitutes.

Polina Tsurskaya is finally removed from the roster here. Russian ladies entries are now Gubanova and Konstantinova.
